Our big aim in all we do in the youth work at St David’s Church is “to make young disciples who make disciples”.
We do this through teaching God’s word and in partnership with parents.
“We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” Psalm 78:4
Big Fish Club is our youth group for 11-14s (years 7-10) and we meet on Sundays after our 9:30am service at the St. David's Centre, 11:00am - 12:00pm. We spend time looking at the bible and praying together while hanging out, playing games and having a snack.
We have now finished for the summer holidays but look forward to starting again on Sunday 4th September
Bridge is our midweek youth group for 15-18s (years 11-13) on Wednesday evenings.
We meet at the St David’s Centre from 7:00-8:30pm. We enjoy having a good time together with food and fun. And we spend time hearing God speak to us in the bible and consider how that impacts our lives. There’s also time for the youth to ask questions in a safe and friendly environment.
Also on the first Wednesday of the month we join in with the Church Monthly Prayer meeting, meeting a bit later for food at 7:30pm and finish at 9pm.
We have now finished for the summer holidays but do get in touch to find out what we're doing over the summer. Bridge will restart again on Wednesday 7th September.
