Youth

Our big aim in all we do in the youth work at St David’s Church is “to make young disciples who make disciples”.

We do this through teaching God’s word and in partnership with parents.

“We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” Psalm 78:4

Rooted

Rooted is our youth group for 11-14s (years 7-9) on Sundays currently during our 6:00pm service. We join the service in the church building to start with and then head over to the St. David's Centre for 35 minutes before coming back to the building for tea and coffee.

Rooted is all about finding out about Jesus so that we can be rooted and built up in him (Colossians 2:6-7).

We study the bible together, have fun playing some games and enjoy spending time together.

We also get together for socials and join in with the church service from time to time.

Bridge

Bridge is our youth group for 15-18s (years 10-13) on Sunday evenings.

We meet at the St David’s Centre from 6:00-7:30pm alongside our evening service. We enjoy having a good time together with food and fun. And we spend time hearing God speak to us in the bible and consider how that impacts our lives. There’s also time for the youth to ask questions in a safe and friendly environment.
