St. David's Church & the Moreton Vale Churches

Services

We have two or three services each Sunday, of different sizes and styles, but central to them all is the Good News of Jesus as revealed in the Bible. Our main service is at 10:30am, but there is also a well-attended service at 6pm and, twice a month, a short communion service at 8am.

Sundays @ 10:30

Our morning service follows a preaching programme, which is available from the link at the top of the page.

Refreshments are served before and after the service, allowing people to have fellowship and build friendships. Children are with us at the start of the service, and there is normally a short 'children's slot' before they head over to the church Centre for their groups. We have a variety of music styles at St. David’s from organ led to small bands.

This service is livestreamed and can be watched on our YouTube Channel.

Sundays @ 6:00

This informal service, lasting a little over an hour, follows a different preaching series from the morning services, meaning that some people come to it for a second service on a Sunday. For others it is their main or only service.

On a few Sundays in the year this service is held at one of the other churches in the benefice (see the list of upcoming services below). During August the evening service takes a break.

Sunday 8am Communion

The 8am service, which is a small and very traditional service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer, is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month (see the list of upcoming services below). There are no hymns during this service but there is still a sermon.
