Congratulations on your engagement! Weddings are some of the happiest things that take place in church, and we are always delighted to be approached by couples wanting to get married, even if they don’t yet have any connection with St David's or one of the other churches in the Benefice.
St David's is a beautiful church and as such is a wonderful setting for a wedding, but we also hope that we provide more than just a good background for your photos. Our aim is to give you a wonderful and memorable service, and to help you prepare for a strong, life-long marriage together.
Please feel free to contact the church office with any questions you might have, but the best way to start the process of booking a wedding is to download our Wedding Application Form and send it to us. The application form does not commit you to anything but it does enable us to confirm that you are legally entitled to get married at one of our churches. We will then get in touch with you to arrange for you to come and look at the church and to start planning the big day.
We do not marry couples where either of you have a former spouse from a previous marriage still living, although in those situations we may be able to offer you a service of prayer and dedication following a civil ceremony, and we would be happy to discuss that with you.
