Worship at the main morning and evening services at St David's Church is accompanied by organ and various instrumental groups, led by our musical director, Paul Webber. The organ is used for the second (HC) and fourth (MS) Sundays of each month. A small instrumental group plays on the first Sunday of the month, whilst an orchestra of up to 40 members plays for the Family Service on the third Sunday of the month. Members include experienced adults, although most are pupils of nine local schools ranging in age from 8-18 years.
A small group of instrumentalists and singers lead at the weekly Sunday at 7 evening service.
The choir is a small loyal group who help to lead the worship at the morning services. They rehearse three times a month on Friday from 6-7 pm. and sing during the communion on the second Sunday.
The choir and orchestra combine at the annual Carol service in December and in alternate years at a church concert.
