St. David's and St. Mary's PCC
The PCC of Moreton and Batsford meets monthly to oversee the spiritual work of the church, and look after the maintenance of the buildings. During the last 8 years there have been huge changes with Phases 1 & 2 of PLAN 2000. The cost has been over £1 million, and it has enabled us to buy and refurbish St. David's Centre (formerly the School), and modernise the church building itself. In addition work has been done on the heating at Batsford, and a number of minor repairs.
The PCC aims to discuss the various aspects of church life on a regular basis - the worship, outreach, youth work etc. - and is both an advisory and decision-making body.
The membership is made up of church staff, wardens, and elected members of the PCC and Deanery Synod, and the number of members is about 16.
